In Design Skills

Margin and column guide creation	X		I used these guides on my double page spread to give my work a professional look as it made everything even.
Inserting an image ID	X		I learnt how to insert an image that I had edited in Photoshop.
Resizing images in ID	X		To make my images better I had to resize some of the images.
Text manipulation – resizing, rotation	X		I had to mess around with the text a lot on my double page spread so that the text looked equal on both pages and that it flowed.
Text manipulation – controlling kerning and leading		X
Text flow creation	X		I used this to make my text flow through the columns so it looked more professional.
Using transparent imagery in ID		X
Shape/line creation In design	X		I used line creation to break my text up slightly and give my DPS a professional look.
Exporting to PDF from In-design	X		To hand in my work I had to export from a PDF from InDesign.
Text Wrap	X		I used text wrap as when inserting text quotes I had to make sure that the text wrapped around them so that all the text was readable.
Other Skills	X		I also learn how to download and add new fonts. I also learnt that holding the shift key when stretching images stops them pixelating and also how to change the quality to high to give the image a better look and less pixelated.
