Margin and column guide creation	X		I used these guides on my double page spread to give my work a professional look as it made everything even.
Inserting an image ID	X		I learnt how to insert an image that I had edited in Photoshop.
Resizing images in ID	X		To make my images better I had to resize some of the images.
Text manipulation – resizing, rotation	X		I had to mess around with the text a lot on my double page spread so that the text looked equal on both pages and that it flowed.

Other Skills	X		I also learn how to download and add new fonts. I also learnt that holding the shift key when stretching images stops them pixelating and also how to change the quality to high to give the image a better look and less pixelated.

Final product double page spread

This is my final DPS. I have added more text and page numbers and also added a fact file which meant I could give the reader some quick, interesting facts. I also edited my photo so it was brighter and used the highlighting tool on Photoshop to brighten up the photo a little more. I also added some lines in between the title and my kicker to break it up a little and I also added lines between each column to separate them. I added quote inserts that stood out from the text which I thought the reader may find interesting.

Final product front cover

This is my final front cover. I have added a lot more sell lines and also included a major sell. I edited my picture more to add more light and make it look less dark. Overall I like my front cover and think it turned out really well.

Unit 3 double page spread progression 3

I have changed the layout of my double page spread as I did not like the previous layout and think this one works a lot better. I decided that because I really liked the picture of my model to use it over a whole page and to put my DPS onto a third page.

I still have some things which I need to finish but overall think my DPS is coming along really well. 

Unit 3 front cover progression 3

I have now added a picture to my front cover as I have now completed my photo shoot. My photo shoot I felt went really well and it gave me the chance to take control and take pictures to work with my article. 

I have changed a few fonts and even though I need to add a few more sell lines I think that the progression for my front cover is coming along well. 

Unit 3 double page spread progression 2

I have decided to change my fonts which I keep changing to find different fonts that will work with my article. I have inserted a drop cap and also changed the layout of my text slightly so that extra pictures can be added. I have added a breakout box at the bottom so that I can give my readers some information about holidays, which is what they're interested in.

Unit 3 front cover progression 2

I have now learnt on Photoshop how to add pictures, such as adding a barcode to my front cover. I have also learnt how to add a button and how to add a dotted edge around the edge. I have downloaded more fonts to add to my front cover and changed some colours to fit in with my DPS and help the colours flow and make it feel like they fit together.
